The inflight magazine of Singapore Airlines (SIA) was first launched in December 1975 as Silver Kris. Covering current and future trends in air travel, as well as travel features and destination guides, the magazine also provided information about SIA's products and services, fleet, network, and airports served. An online version of the magazine was launched in 2010 and the magazine, presently stylised as SilverKris, has been fully digital since March 2020. This issue is part of a set donated by Mr Jimmy Chew, who worked as an engineer at SIA from the 1960s until his retirement in 1998.The July 1991 issue of Silver Kris, pictured here, includes highlights of Singapore Changi Airport on the occasion of its tenth anniversary of operations and the new features of Terminal 2, which opened in November 1990.
