Gift from Supermama Store

This set of porcelain was launched in 2015 by Supermama, a design and lifestyle goods brand founded by Singaporean couple, Edwin Low and Lee Mei Ling, in 2010. Edwin had created this design as a personal response to making one of Singapore’s icons, the Merlion, hip and sexy. Created together with the Japanese ceramic company Kihara Inc, the porcelain wares were made in Arita, Japan, and sport stamp-printed designs in underglaze cobalt-blue pigments.
