This is the birth certificate of Elizabeth “Betty” Boey Lian Siang (1919-2005) a Hokkien Chinese from Selangor, Kuala Lumpur. Boey sought employment in Singapore where she met her first husband, Peranakan Ong Tiang Seng (?-1942), son of Ong Peng Hock (1889-1968) and grandson of Ong Sam Leong (1857-1918).
