This Sawankhalok lidded jar with four lugs on its shoulder is decorated with lotus petal motifs and classical and lotus scroll designs. Large quantities of ceramics were made at Sukhothai and Sawankhalok kilns for export to Southeast Asia and beyond during the 14th to 16th centuries.
