This photograph shows Indonesian domestic helper Sugiyani Waryomiharjo seeing her daughter, Rola, off to school. Sugiyani was due to leave her family again to work as a domestic helper overseas, this time in Singapore after her previous stint in Saudi Arabia. She has been away for much of Rola’s childhood as she seeks to supplement the family income in order to help pay off her family’s debts. Whenever she is home, Sugiyani tries to spend as much time as possible with Rola.
