Each hairpin is decorated with a bird replete with a beak, claws and upturned wing tips. Floral sprigs made of bezel-set, rose-cut diamonds create an elegant curved form. These hairpins are part of a group of heirloom jewellery that was passed down from Lee Chuan Neo (1912-1989) to her only child, Mona Tan (b. 1945).
