Decorated with the “18-Star Flag” and “Five-Colour Flag”, this commemorative tea set and bowl were produced in Chaozhou to celebrate the first anniversary of the 1911 Revolution.The outbreak of Wuchang Uprising in 1911, ushered in an age of transformation in China as a nation, by overthrowing two thousand years of feudal monarchy and establishing a republic. The establishment of Republic of China had greatly impacted oversea Chinese and reflected through many aspects of their life.
