This is a cup advertising the ‘Tiger Beer’ brand of alcohol, which is Singapore’s first locally-brewed beer. Founded in 1931, Tiger Beer has become of Singapore’s major homegrown brands. Despite Singapore’s poor economy in the wake of the Great Depression, Heineken International and Fraser and Neaves jointly established a brewery known as Malayan Breweries Limited.
