The H-shape blocks (Blocks 167-172) in Boon Lay Drive, pictured here, were among the many flats built by the Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) in the 1960s and 1970s, mainly to house workers working in Jurong. The "H" shape of the blocks from top view is formed via a shared lift system which links two parallel blocks together. The blocks were demolished in 2018 as part of the Selective En-bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS).
