This is a beer schooner that has a NAAFI label at the front. This beer schooner was probably used at the NAAFI Britannia Club at Beach Road. The Britannia Club was opened in 17 December 1952 and had facilities such as a cafeteria, a drinking tavern, billiard room, music room, dance floor and table tennis room. It was a popular recreational venue frequented by the British and other Allied forces that were stationed in Singapore. With the withdrawal of the British from Singapore in the 1960s, the Britannia Club closed its doors on 30 April 1971.
