This is a telegram from Robert K. Knight to a Mrs J. Knight of 29 Pendennis Park, Brislington, Bristol, dated 13 September 1945. Robert Knight had just been liberated and the telegram reads as such: 'am safe Australian hands hope to be home soon writing stop address letters and telegrams to liberated P/W care Australian base P O Melbourne'.
