This black-and-white studio family photograph belonged to Mdm Tan Soh Hui. Taken in the 1960s, the photograph shows Mdm Tan with her young family and her mother, Mdm Ng Ah Moy. Mdm Tan and Mdm Ng moved to Singapore in September 1947 from Theng Hai, Swatow (now known as Chenghai District, Shantou, Guandong Province).
