Twelve Years in India and Malaya: A Memoir of Henry Vacher

This is a memoir of Henry Vacher, who departed from Southampton to work for the Peninsula & Oriental (P&O) shipping company in Calcutta in 1866. Privately printed and compiled by his son Francis, this memoir charts Vacher's life in India and Malaya, including a vacation he took to Singapore in 1873.
