Prince of Wales's Island; or Pulo Penang

This print features a view of Fort Cornwallis in Penang, with the light house and flagstaff bearing the British flag. Penang was ceded to the British East India Company in 1786, with the settlement built around Fort Cornwallis, named after the Governor-General of Bengal at that time.
