This “study handbook” titled “The Path to Struggle” (斗争路线学习专集) was printed by the Central Propaganda Publishing Committee of the Barisan Sosialis. The Barisan Sosialis (Socialist Front) was a left-wing political party founded in Singapore in 1961. “Study” (xuexi, 学习) was the means by which socialist ideologies were disseminated.
