Vista II

Vista II by artist Wyn-Lyn Tan (b. 1974, Singapore) is an extension of the same body of work as her series of 16 landscape paintings. In her Vista works, a large painting is encased in a deep box-like frame with mirrors along the inside rim. The reflections open up the illusion of another space beyond, both laterally and top and bottom. The use of mirrors is also an extension of the idea of a horizon line and duality and repetition of image.
