This is the commemorative programme marking the 15th anniversary of the play Emily of Emerald Hill. It was performed by Malaysian actress Pearlly Chua and is a fantastic mark of the continued resonance that this play, years after it was first staged. Stella Kon is an award-winning Singapore playwright whose most important work was the 1983 one-woman play, Emily of Emerald Hill. She is also a descendent of two prominent Peranakan philanthropists, Tan Tock Seng and Dr Lim Boon Keng.
