These two fragmentary throne backs were both part of a shrine which would have held a central standing jina. Above where the head would be is a parasol. The central jina would have been surrounded by the other twenty three jinas in a holy assembly. At the apex is a kirtimukha mask (face of glory). Architectural elements can be seen at the side, and the slender columns add to its refinement. A flywhisk is seen on the left side of the central figure, a symbol of reverence.
