This green and blue sarong is signed by Njonja Oeij Kok Sing. This sarong is very busy and the background is decorated with isen or filler motifs. The light blue and green diagonal strips decorate the front panel of the cloth, while large floral blossoms fill the body of the sarong. Batik sarongs were worn by Peranakan Chinese in the Strait Settlements and Indonesia as a skirt to accompany a top known as a kebaya
