This figurine of Krishna, is part of a collection of Golu dolls that are displayed by Tamil, Telegu and Kannada households during the festival of Navaratri. Navaratri is a festival celebrating the triumph of good over evil. The Golu display includes figurines of dieties, leaders, heroes, and common folk.
