"This travelogue was written by Beatrive Borland between 1930 and 1931. It records Borland's travel in Asia, from Turkey to India, Southeast Asia, China and Japan. The book includes a chapter on Siam to Singapore, with interesting illustrations. While in Singapore, Borland stayed in the Raffles Hotel, and describes well known Singaporean icons such as teh John Little shop and the Singapore sling."
