Misak is an oath taking ceremony wherein young women pledge their allegiance to the faith (Shi’ite Islam) and the Syedna, the religious leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community. This is an invitation to a buffet dinner on occasion of the Misak ceremony of Jumana Nakhoda at the Nakhoda Residence – ‘Nakhoda Baugh’. The invitation also mentions the dinner being an occasion to bid farewell to Mrs. Rukaiya Fidahusein Nakhoda prior to her voyage.
