Welcoming plans for the arrival of troops in Singapore

This plan shows the various arrangements and programme to welcome the arrival of the troopship the HMT Dilwara to Singapore on 1 July 1949. Some of the troops on board the HMT Dilwara were en route to Hong Kong to prepare for the Communist advance in South China.
