Middle Income Housing Booklet by HUDC

This booklet provides an overview and layout plans of the HUDC (Housing and Urban Development Company) estates as well as the terms and conditions governing the sale of the flats. Built in the 1970s and 1980s, the HUDC flats are known for their spacious units while the estates often occupied big plots of land. Originally intended for the middle-income earners, the estates became less popular when private housing prices fell and homeowners had housing options from the executive and resale HDB (Housing and Development Board) flats in the 1980s. HDB took over HUDC in 1982 and later the HUDC scheme ended in 1995 after having built 18 estates.
