Originally known as a painter, Oh Chai Hoo started his practice of ceramic art ten years ago. His ceramic work, produced in recent years, demonstrates the artist’s maturity in the medium and mastery of the techniques. Oh creates works in stoneware, and his approach to ceramic art is largely sculptural. Oh derives the themes for his works from nature, and many of his works express an organic feel.
