This is a purple and pink sarong with floral motifs. It is a Pekalongan piece signed by atelier Tan Pian Hiow but was acquired from a Cirebon family.This sarong displays the typical motifs and colour schemes popular with Peranakan Chinese communities in Indonesia and the Straits Settlements.
