Credit cards, ATM cards and a Post Office Savings Bank passcard

These bank-related cards were displayed at the National Exhibition 1984. Held to celebrate Singapore’s 25 years of nation-building, the exhibition was opened by then Prime Minister Lee Kwan Yew and the late Mr. Ong Teng Cheong at World Trade Centre (now HarbourFront Centre). After the exhibition, some exhibits were selected by 300,000 visitors to be buried in a time capsule in front of the museum. These cards were among the selected exhibits that were unearthed in December 2009 together with other artefacts.
