This printed drop-waist dress was designed by Singaporean designer, Benny Ong who was based in London from the 1970s to 1996. He collaborated with Austin Reed in the late 1980s to produce such dresses. The dress was donated by Mrs. Jaya Mohideen, who was Singapore’s Ambassador to Brussels, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and the Vatican. She is currently Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Finland. Mrs. Mohideen also runs an art gallery, Galerie Belvedere.
