This perfume belonged to the late Christina Lee (1923-2009), who also created its scent. Christina Lee was a style icon who was remembered for her poise, elegance and impeccable fashion sense. She was the former wife of Loke Wan Tho, the founder and chairman of Cathay Organisation. In the early 1970s, she established her perfume company, Perfumes of Singapore. Her husband, Dr. Dadi Balsara, eventually took over the business when they got married. Together, they produced fragrances such as ‘Singapore Girl’ and ‘First Lady’.
