This tailcoat is the top half of a suit. It belonged to the donor's father. He used to teach at Foon Yew High School (the largest Chinese school) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia in the 1920s. He was a graduate of Fuzhou Christian University and the suit was probably worn at a university event.
