The Singapore-Johor Bahru Causeway

The Singapore-Johor Bahru Causeway is a 1,056m cross-country link over the Strait of Johor that separates Singapore and Peninsula Malaysia. It was officially opened on 28 June 1924 when Singapore was still part of British Malaya by Governor Sir Laurence Guillemard, in the presence of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Johore.
