This 45 rpm record was produced by Polar Bear Record. Wu Kang, also known as Goh Gong, was a famous Singaporean singer in the late 1960s and 1970s. Chen Mei Feng who was also a local singer, recorded a melodrama album, ‘Everlasting Hatred’ (《长恨歌》), with Malaysian singers Li Yi (李逸) and Qiu Qing Yun (邱清云) in 1972. The audio drama was well received and approximately 40,000 copies were sold in half a year.
