his is a stamp from a set of nine titled ‘Uniformed Groups in Singapore Issue’. Uniformed groups are considered important platforms for the development of leadership qualities in Singaporean students. Through varied and rigorous training and development programmes, these uniformed groups aim to provide members with knowledge, skills and meaningful lifelong experiences, as well as to inculcate in them a sense of pride and belonging to the nation. The National Civil Defence Cadet Corps was formed in 2005.
