This is a stamp from a set of four titled ‘40 Years of National Service’. Most Singaporean males are familiar with the Basic Military Training (BMT) exercise that they have to go through in National Service. In BMT, they learn weapon handling, close combat and other basic soldiering skills to ensure their survival on the battlefield.
