Stamp set titled ‘40 Years of National Service’

This is a commemorative stamp set marking the 40th anniversary of National Service in Singapore. These stamps depict various components of National Service: the Oath of Allegiance, Basic Military Training, drills and regimentation, and the fundamentals of operational training. National Service was implemented in 1967 for the defence of Singapore following the departure of British forces.
