This is a letter of acknowledgement written by Yunos bin Muhammad Lebai, originally from Melaka but now residing in Singapore at Kampong Kalam, of taking $600 cash from Hasan bin Haji Muhammad Maricar for the sale of rotan semambu. It bears the date 17 Syawall 1260H (corresponding to 29 October 1844).
