This orange velvet handbag with gold embroidery and the initial ‘N.S.’ (Negeri Sembilan) belonged to former First Lady, Puan Noor Aishah, the wife of Singapore’s first President, Mr. Yusof Ishak. This was probably a state gift to the first lady.
