This picture was taken from a point north of the Victoria Dock, the Tanjong Pagar Dock Company's first dry dock. It overlooks Tanjong Pagar Road, as well as Guthrie Hill. It also shows the quarters of the Tanjong Pagar Dock Company along the main road that leads to the entrance of the company.
