These teacups are conical in shape, with everted rims which are scalloped and gilded on the edges and feature the standard phoenix-and-peony motif. Although most Straits Chinese teacups are small and range in size from 3.5 to 7 cm in diameter, there are also larger teacups which come together with matching covers.
