These teacups are conical in shape, with everted rims (filled with the eight Buddhist emblems) which are scalloped and gilded on the edges, and feature the standard floral motif. Although most Straits Chinese teacups are small and range in size from 3.5 to 7 cm in diameter, there are also larger teacups which come together with matching covers.
