In the 1970s, schoolchildren usually packed their lunches to school. Themed lunch boxes featuring their favourite idols were popular choices. This metal lunchbox features The Osmonds, the famous American pop group from the 1970s. Though they were originally an all-boy band, it was Donny and Marie Osmond, the younger siblings, who became household names in Singapore. They had their own television show between 1972 and 1973 which was watched widely in Singapore.
