This hand-built red earthenware pot has a lenticular form with an angled shoulder and round base. It also has a large flared trumpet- shaped mouth and incised patterns. Bronze age pottery excavated from Ban Prasat and Ban Lum Khao in the Phimai area of Nakhon Ratchasima province were used as burial goods. Ban Prasat burials date from around 800 BC and were full of pottery, shells, marble bracelets, cattle and pig remains, and bronze axe casting moulds.
