This is a cast gold ring with a pale green glass cabochon stone. Although Indian influence had reached Java by this time and Indian motifs provided inspiration for Javanese goldsmiths, Javanese jewellery were not mere imitates of Indian models. The nature of interaction between Indian and Javanese culture remains a subject of debate.
