This piece of batik tulis or hand-drawn batik signed by Ong Kiem Tjiong has high quality workmanship. It has a clear blue ground with spots of flowers in background of the head or 'kepala' as well as chrysanthemum motifs with swallows and butterflies. Fine dot and grain work decorate the body or 'badan'.
