This guan-shaped, porcelain jar has a narrow, short mouthrim, and broad shoulders that taper to a narrow base. The body is decorated with fan-shaped motifs outlined in green interspersed with lotus motifs in eroded red and green enamels in semi-circles. Geometric lozenges and trellises are also painted in red and green enamels. The glaze is heavily crackled.
