This is a mail box that is painted yellow on the outside and has an Islamic crescent and star marking on the inside. The box was probably owned by an Arab and was rented out to Giam Kay Co. and the Singapore Tea Importers & Exporters' Association for their usage. The address on the mail box reads: ‘No. 30B, Hokkien Street, Singapore 0104’.
