This copper green-glazed dish with an everted rim and carved decorations has an unglazed stacking ring in the centre.Copper-green glazed wares such this made a brief appearance in the 14th century. They reflect a desire to emulate Chinese wares in an attempt to capture a share of the export market for high-fired glazed ceramics.
