Adelphi Hotel was originally founded in 1863 at Raffles Place. It was subsequently shifted to High Street and finally to the junction of Coleman Street and North Bridge Road in 1905 as seen in the postcard. It was torn down in the 1970s to make way for the Aldephi Shopping Complex.
