This print (chromolithograph) by Austrian diplomat Eugen von Ransonnet was published in his 'Skizzen aus Singapur und Djohor' (Sketches: Singapore and Johore) in 1876. The print shows a Malay village in Pulau Tekong, Singapore's largest offshore island, situated off its northeast coast.
