Born in 1965 in Malaysia, Anurendra Jegadeva received his art education at Oxford Polytechnic, London and earned a Master of Fine Arts from Monash University, Australia in 2002. A self-confessed armchair commentator and coffee shop activist, he has worked in different capacities as a journalist and curator in Malaysia and Australia. Utilizing narratives from his environment, including myths and religion, Anurendra creates works in both two- and three-dimensional forms.
